Forklift training packages
We specialise in on-site forklift training, helping your team learn fast and safely.
Our forklift training packages work around you and the day-to-day running of your business. Our instructors can fit into any shift pattern, early mornings or nights, at no extra cost (subject to availability). All our certificates meet Health and Safety at Work Act requirements, and our instructors are fully trained, certificated and accredited.
Packages available
Novice Forklift Training
For staff who have never driven a forklift. Three to five days on-site, ending with the accredited test and certificate.
Semi-Experienced Forklift Training
For operators who have driven informally but never been formally trained and certificated. Usually two days.
Refresher Forklift Training
The HSE recommends refresher training every three to five years. A one-day course that re-tests and re-certificates experienced operators.
Conversion Forklift Training
For certificated operators moving onto a different type of truck: counterbalance to reach, reach to VNA, and so on. One to two days.
Our six elements of forklift training
Every package is split into six sections. That structure is what gets your team to the highest standard.

Training videos
Instructors carry a laptop or tablet. Forklift safety videos are a crucial part of the programme and show the consequences of getting it wrong.

Health and safety
Every instructor teaches to current Health and Safety regulations, so your employees are up to date with the latest legislation and your duty of care is met.

Theory work
Before anyone takes the wheel they must understand the hazards they will meet operating a forklift truck, from stability to pedestrians.
Pre-operation check
Every trainee learns to check the truck before use. We can supply booklets with checklists at additional cost.
Practical training
Time to operate the truck. Trainees complete a wide range of manoeuvres, on your site, until they can operate safely and confidently.
Test and certification
The final part of every course: a theory test, a pre-use inspection and a practical test to confirm the trainee has taken in everything the instructor taught.
